Aya Nagatomi

Born in 1986, Aya Nagatomi studied at High school of Tokyo College of Music with special scholarship. In 2004, she studied at the 9th Hamamatsu International Academy. In 2005 she gave a recital at Oji Hall in Tokyo and continued her study with Professor George Nadl at National Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hungary and gave solo and chamber music concerts in Hungary.

In 2007, Ms. Nagatomi gave recitals in Fukuoka, Osaka, Takamatsu and Tokyo with great success. In 2008, her recital at Lutkin Hall in Illinois, USA was extremely well received, and her reputation has spread rapidly in the United States where she now actively gives performances.  

Future concert plans include a recital in New York, Los Angeles and a concerto performance in Los Angeles. In July 2008, she took part in the symposium at Princeton University with scholarship and received lessons by Professor Edna Golansky on the Tubman method. In 2009, she gave a recital at Steinway Hall, New York City and received rave reviews.
